Tech Play 4: Content Objectives

I chose content objectives because I wanted to continue to explore other tools for my classroom. As an Art Teacher, I explored several Art apps and several non Art apps. Some of the ones I really enjoyed and thought the students would enjoy as well were:

Art for Kids Hub is a guided drawing/instructional drawing app in which kids can follow along and learn simple techniques of drawing and a variety of other options such as, origami folding, painting and many more techniques.

Timeline 3D (instructional/sequencing) is an app that allows students to create a 3D timeline of anything. Images, videos, and PDF's can be added to the timeline to bring it to life. Students can feel successful because it is age appropriate. With the free app, you can get the basics, but if you want all of the features, you need to purchase them separately.

Wizard School! (instructional and exploring), is an app which allows students to explore, create, and share with classmates, teachers, and family. There are topics, such as science, design, languages, geography, and sports. There are several different tools such as maps and videos, as well as content curated by educators. This says it is ages 4-6, but I feel it could be beneficial to kids 7-9.

Seesaw (create and reflect), is an app which students can use to create their own learning portfolio and reflect on their learning. They can share with the teacher, other students, and their families.
